A stroke is a serious medical condition caused by a sudden disruption of blood flow to the brain. This disruption can occur due to a blockage in a blood vessel (ischemic stroke) or due to bleeding inside the brain (hemorrhagic stroke). When blood supply is interrupted, brain cells begin to die quickly because they are deprived of oxygen and nutrients. As a result, various parts of the brain can be damaged, depending on the location of the blockage or bleed. The consequences can be devastating, including paralysis, loss of speech, memory problems, and long-term disability.

In my case, the stroke happened suddenly and unexpectedly, triggered by high blood pressure. I remember the first signs clearly: my face began to droop, and then my arms and legs became weak. A severe headache struck me, dizziness followed, and I completely lost the ability to speak. The shock of the moment was unbearable. I could not accept the idea that I might remain disabled for the rest of my life, so I decided to fight for my recovery.

Naturally, I followed all the instructions of my doctors. I took the prescribed medications and attended the recommended medical appointments. However, I also searched for additional healing methods in traditional medicine. I wanted to support my recovery in every possible way, and I was determined not to give up.

To my surprise, the results were truly remarkable. With time, my body began to regain the functions that had been lost. The recovery was not only gradual but also rapid in many areas. The muscles regained strength, my speech improved, and I regained control of my movements. Today, I feel better than I did before the stroke, and I can live a full life again.

Below are several traditional remedies that I used during my recovery. These are not meant to replace medical treatment, but they helped me a lot as supportive therapies.

1. Mumiyo (Shilajit) Solution

One of the main remedies I used was Mumiyo, also known as Shilajit. This natural substance has been used in traditional medicine for centuries due to its regenerative properties. It is believed to support the healing of damaged brain tissue and help reduce scarring. In my experience, Mumiyo played a significant role in accelerating recovery.

Preparation Method

To prepare the solution:

Dissolve 10 grams of Mumiyo in 1.5 liters of boiled water that has been cooled to room temperature.

Pour the solution into a plastic bottle and store it in the refrigerator.

How to Use

Mumiyo should be taken for 21 days, twice a day:

In the morning on an empty stomach, about 30–40 minutes before eating.

In the evening, 3 hours before going to bed.

After completing a 21-day course, take a break for 5–7 days, and then repeat the course again. This cycle should be continued for at least six months to see significant improvements.

Mumiyo is believed to stimulate the regeneration of damaged tissues and support the brain’s recovery process. Many people also believe that it helps reduce scarring in the brain.

Enhancing Mumiyo’s Effect

To increase the effectiveness of Mumiyo, you can combine it with aloe vera juice, which is known for its healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Additionally, juices from Kalanchoe and Ginkgo biloba are believed to help reduce scarring and improve blood circulation in the brain.

2. Kalanchoe Juice

Kalanchoe is a popular plant in traditional medicine due to its powerful regenerative effects. It is often used to support healing and improve tissue regeneration.

Dosage

Take 1 teaspoon of Kalanchoe juice once a day.

Kalanchoe juice is believed to support the healing of damaged brain tissues and help restore normal function.

3. Ginkgo Biloba Juice

Ginkgo biloba is widely known for its positive effects on blood circulation and brain health. It may help improve oxygen supply to the brain and support recovery after stroke.

Dosage

Take 2 teaspoons of Ginkgo biloba juice once a day.

4. Tansy Infusion

Tansy is another herb used in traditional medicine, known for its anti-inflammatory and restorative properties. During the breaks between Mumiyo courses, I used a tansy infusion for one week.

How I Used It

During the 21-day break between Mumiyo cycles, I took tansy infusion for one week. It helped me maintain the recovery process and supported overall health.

The Importance of Massage in Stroke Recovery

During the post-stroke period, regular massage of the back, arms, and legs is extremely important. Stroke often causes muscle weakness, stiffness, and loss of coordination. Massage helps improve blood circulation, reduce muscle tension, and restore movement.

I recommend performing several short massage sessions daily. Each session should last about 10 minutes, and it should be done multiple times per day if possible. Over time, massage can significantly improve muscle tone and mobility.

A Message of Hope

I want to encourage everyone who is recovering from a stroke not to lose hope. Recovery may be difficult and slow, but with determination, support, and the right methods, progress is possible. I wish everyone a speedy and complete recovery.

Doctor’s Commentary

A stroke is indeed a serious and dangerous medical condition. Among the main causes, the most dangerous are:

Hypertension (high blood pressure)

Atherosclerosis

Vegetative-vascular dystonia (disorder of blood vessel tone in the brain)

Smoking, which doubles the risk of stroke

Excess weight

Heart diseases, especially atrial fibrillation

Blood disorders

The outcome of a stroke is often necrosis of brain tissue, which develops in the area surrounding the damaged blood vessels. This necrosis is followed by scarring and tissue shrinkage.

Clinically, the consequences of stroke may include:

Muscle weakness or paralysis

Balance disorders

Memory impairment

Sleep disturbances

The dangerous aspect of stroke is that it often develops quietly, without obvious symptoms, and can lead to severe outcomes.
